DignusData suspended my vps and demanded inovice payment in advance

Hi,

I have multiple vps with different providers but have never faced such an issue with any one of them which i faced with DignusData. So today i was working on my vps and suddenly it got disconnected. When i checked from the panel, it was suspended.

I contacted the live chat about the issues, i was informed that i have an unpaid invoice. Yes i have an unpaid invoice but thats on 8th June 2020 but they suspended my server around 15 days before my invoice date.

The person on chat told me that i need to pay the inovice and my service would be reactivated. So when i told them i will only pay when its due time, they unsuspended the server.

This is total blackmail on their part asking customers to pay invoice before due date and suspending their server if its not paid. i am attaching the link to the chat i had with them, as my connection was broken, so could only get part of the chat saved.

I am moving my testing sites away from the server and would not recommend them to anyone.

Thanks

  • Lol one of vps is still up somehow, but seems to be back in Germany with maybe 2g line instead of 1? Randomly check every few days to see where it has moved to

I have exact situation today, they suspended my server because of unpaid invoice due in June 08. I asked them through the live chat, and they told me you have to cancel the server in the system, so that we can will unsuspend it.

I then request a cancellation in next billing date. Now server is back to work.

So basically they've realised the prices are unsustainable and are forcing everyone to cancel them, that way you'd be forced to purchase on the new, higher pricing?

    Interesting!

Um, what's there to realize? They were reselling stuff below what they initially paid for?

It's not even basic economics. It's .... It's common sense?

I'm just wondering how they could get that far.
Anyways, seemed to be a weird and short ride.

My only guess of why one might do that is attention.

The dude was so bored out of his mind & life that he wanted something to thrive under his watch even if it was on a course to self-doom from get-go.

    I blame ChinaVirus and summer.

If I want to renew for next month, it's same price, but I didn't want, as it's not as expected.
