Has anyone tried setting up OpenVPN on any of the VPS? Is anyone facing issues?

I'm already in touch with Cam, but just wanted to know if anyone else is having issues with connecting via OpenVPN.

Cam said: Working on it. Give it a try now after a reboot.

    It's still not working?
    Any idea?

Yea, Cam's been working on it. I'm sure he'd update here once he's done with the fix.

I do not know why, but my experience with another OpenVZ 7 ( from at @anyNode ) ended up with OpenVPN not working on it.

Because I appreciate @Cam for his services provided so far, and I can appreciate his passion for computers, I did not wish to even think of a refund, therefore I tried to find another purpose my new VPS: I created a SearX instance.

I do not know if Shadowsocks works on this VPS, but my solution within anyNode was to not use OpenVPN, so I used Shadowsocks there. If anyone can please test Shadowsocks on these servers, it would be a nice feedback for replacement of OpenVPN within OpenVZ 7 containers.

@Cam - if you can not find a solution to OpenVPN in OpenVZ 7, just create a template for Shadowsocks (or something else) so people can deploy VPN easy.

Still working on it! I haven't given up yet! OpenVPN works on my NAT's that's why I'm really confused.

On your NAT service I got OpenVZ 6, and it works. But this is OpenVZ 7.

I have OpenVPN working on OVZ7 - from memory, I think nyr's scripts didn't work however angristan's did.

  • OpenVPN with Nyr's script works fine on MrVM OVZ7 (SG node)

    Nyr's wireguard work on OVZ7.

Oh great, that's the next thing I want to test as I migrate from OpenVPN to Wireguard...

I have added my ipv6 to cloudflare but I get the error "Origin is unreachable". Anybody else having problems? Finnland btw.

Make sure your webserver is listening on your IPv6 address.
