I might have one. d860 will be retired soon, has 8 GB ram, where are you from ?
@Maounique specs of yours? I might be interested too, for one project.
England
No raid controller, has 2 sata ports 2x1tb drives I can keep those, also rails if you dont need.
UK is a bit far, transport might not be worth it, I am in Romania but will be good for Bulgaria :P
Curious, would anyone here one of those tiny atom servers or old servers like athlon 64s, pentiums and above, for sale ?
Well, Xeon 3070 is Pentium Conroe (core 2 duo).
I have never seen a d860.. is this an HP proliant server?

Something like this. It is a DELL put the d in front
With the D I thought it would be like HP DL servers or similar.. Interesting! thanks..
Yeah, I see that now, but the thread was about poweredge so both the D and the poweredge could have been omitted
Yes, but this is LET.. multiple occasions where people reply without really fitting the basic requirements of what is asked..
Not implying you are like that..:)
I think I actually prefer the Poweredge over the Proliants.. I have a couple of both servers but prefer mucking about with the Dell more so than the HP.
Same here, I just ordered a proliant, though, will see how this flies.
HP's are great.. suppose to be one of the best. What model did you get?
You should check out the Dell VRTX, pretty neat stuff!
