It is intended as Free during COVID while people work from home and later they will move back to physical offices.

so far in 2 threads 3 of us mentioned the 500 error
This was a major goofup from our end. We have 2 versions of the website, 1 is for non Indians and 1 for Indians. We saw the Indian one which was fine and there was an extra ' in the international version which caused the error.
Please accept my apologies for this and try it now .

IMHO your other offer in the other thread will sell more. Just add more locations start adding US and EU (Amsterdam and UK) on that offer. As the plans are more attractive.
We are trying it out very soon, we are just finishing up our storage project.
You will be able to par with the pricing with other like ovh, intovps and ultravps.eu. At $5 for 2GB RAM most wont even ask for more discount. Ofcourse you still need to par on the disk IO and CPU throttling.
$5 for 1GB RAM is not appealing to many now. It is a fair price. But not appealing to many.
Anyway, this jelastic has its advantage though but IMHO, the advantage is not for PHP apps or database driven apps specially MySQL. Maybe with nodejs apps.

Asheville, USA and Frankfurt, Germany will be back in stock next week - hardware deliveries are delayed due to COVID. Currently , we don't want to add more regions till lockdowns end in USA and EU.
This is where our solutions and clusters come in. We have Wordpress Cluster on CloudJiffy which can handle 10K concurrent visitors in <8GB consumed RAM. It's not possible for a newbie to set up something like this on a plain VM without a lot of testing and research.
Similarly, we have standalone and clustered solutions for Magento, Kubernetes etc and smaller apps like RocketChat, Jitsi.
Would definitely love to see also storage VMs particularly in asia region.
We use Acronis for backups ( cPanel, Managed VPS/Servers , Email etc ) and have Acronis storage nodes in India, USA, Europe. We won't look at offering Storage VMs as of now. Instead we can provide Acronis license + storage in all 3 continents.
interesting! I played a bit with jitsi on cloudjiffy already, because I thought, it's an ideal use case for autoscaling instances. however, restrictive firewall settings might be hindering a bit, so one needs to be aware of that and configure properly.
also RAM demands of the app needs you to have a higher baseline in terms of cloudlets already to balance on the price.
good for development or staging anyway! maybe I give the premade template a shot now, just to compare... ;-)
