The Public ALPHA release of JetBackup for DirectAdmin comes with a FREE 10-Day Trial for all new installations.

    One problem here.

Whenever I downloaded a Database backup from Jetbackup in cPanel, I can not restore it to other panel, Directadmin for example.

Even using PHPmyadmin is not possible.

The size of uncompressed database is also different, manual backup vs Jetbackup.

    Like 20% higher with JetBackup.

  • Looking forward to seeing the developments. Eagerly waiting a full release but for now I'm happily testing it out with @MikePT's setup.

Perhaps have a page with a change log so we can all see the current fixes and versions.

It would have been useful if Cenos8 was included as quite a few of us are using Centos8.

    Hi @Mic-hael, @experttechit,

Thank you for the feedback and glad to hear that your testing is going well! We are indeed working on putting out a changelog page alongside basic preliminary documentation soon so that the community may have a better avenue to track down versions and fixes as you have mentioned.

    Best Regards,

We have done some CENTOS8 upgrades and wondered when jetbackup may support it please?

    Good luck with your development.

I am eagerly waiting for a stable version. JetBackup has been good for us and and can't wait to offer it with our DiectAdmin hosting.

  • Hey guys,

We'd like to thank everyone in the community who has participated so far in our Alpha Testing Program. Your continuous testing and feedback allow our team to rapidly push updates for JetBackup 5 (JetBackup for DirectAdmin) and hit our milestones more quickly. Our team has a couple more milestones to hit before we reach the STABLE version and can't wait for more people in the community to get their hands on it :)

@experttechit, progress for CentOS 8 support is going along smoothly and our developers have laid the groundwork and began internal tests to ensure that once JetBackup 5 reaches the STABLE tier, Centos 8 Support will be added expeditiously. We will have a clearer ETA once we are closer to releasing JetBackup for DirectAdmin on STABLE.

We appreciate your continued feedback and support in our products and please stay tuned for future announcements regarding JetBackup for DirectAdmin updates and release dates!

    Best Regards,
    Anton, JetApps Team.
