Where they the one that don't care about the CPU usage?

meh. It doesn't mention guaranteed speeds anywhere. If past OVH VPS disk speeds are anything to go by the disk performance won't be particularly stunning and price tag isn't the most competitive compared to other similar offerings by other providers.

    Thanked by 1RedSox
  • the price is not so interesting :/

    Thanked by 2RedSox dontknow
  • prices are lol

    Thanked by 2RedSox dontknow
  • Pricing looks ok actually if you calculate it on a price per cpu core basis for higher end 4 and 8 cpu core VPS plans. Getting lower than US$10/cpu core once past 4+ cpu cores isn't that common for VPS plans when using newer cpu models. But that was before AMD EPYC started gaining traction. So who knows.

But really depends on what cpu models are used. OVH actually reached out to me to see if I was interested in benchmark/test these new OVH VPS offerings, so I'll share my results with LET folks later too once I get access. Will be similar benchmark testing to what I did at https://community.centminmod.com/threads/13-way-vps-server-benchmark-comparison-tests-upcloud-vs-digitalocean-vs-linode-vs-vultr-vs-hetzner.17742/.

    is this for real ?

    • For VPS hosted in Sydney and Singapore : 1TB traffic/month for the VPS range “Starter” and “Value”, 2TB/month for the VPS range “Essential”, 3TB/month for the VPS range “Comfort” and 4TB/month for the VPS range “Elite” . Bandwidth is reduced to 10Mbps once the monthly quota is exceeded

Edit : Got it Limits are only for Syd/Sng Regions.

  • It was already like that on the older VPS generation.

Both will work. With DA you just need to use SSH more than cPanel.

We are currently running DA and have an owned retail license.... Just been missing some of the cPanel features, especially addons like Acronis..... and it’s some work understanding DA...
