Where to get a cheap & dirty IP range for network honeypot

Title says most of it: I'm looking for a certain amount of IPs for network honeypots where I don't care about reputation. For all I'm concerned, it can be a spammers from hell IP range nobody wants.

What's the price range I should expect for something like a /24?

If that's a moderator reply, I would kindly ask to let this sink or just remove It. Thx.

Too many unemployed people on all levels here if you haven’t noticed yet. You need to have an active membership of the wank squad before you’d be permitted to post such questions/requests.

Working for a FAANG company is no guarantee of having a recession-proof job.

    • If Amazon stops selling enough, layoffs will ripple through the company including the IT department, not just warehouses.
    • Likewise, if this goes on long enough, Apple won't be selling as much and at some point they'll look to cut costs to preserve cash.
    • We think of Facebook as being recession-proof but their income derives exclusively from advertising - which is highly recession-sensitive.
    • Same for Google, who also has significant manufacturing exposure.
    • Is Netflix the exception? Maybe but at present they're highly dependent on cheap debt to keep themselves going, their product is a luxury, and quality competition is coming fast and furious.

Not saying these jobs are in danger tomorrow by any means but FAANG isn't guaranteed lifetime employment.

  • Sorry. What is Faang?

    According to this source:

FAANG is an acronym referring to the stocks of the five most popular and best-performing American technology companies: Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix and Alphabet (formerly known as Google).

Thinking about this I am becoming unsure whether it is trustworthy to ask someone about himself. :D

  • Almost any Buffalo IP will do just fine.

Either misspelled gothic vampire porn or an an acronym for Facebook Amazon Apple Netflix Google, referring to the most valuable tech companies (in a stock market sense), even though this is not actually true.

Technically it should bee FAAAN or FAANA now that Google->Alphabet.

The term is silly because it doesn't include Microsoft, which is bigger than 4 out of the 5 (all except Apple), or Cisco or Oracle, both of which are bigger than Netflix.

    But that's journalism for you.

The most overpriced big-cap tech stocks may be a more accurate description.

Cisco and Oracle are not considered "cool tech bro". It's a bit weird - I know plenty of people that would refuse to work for Oracle even if they offered 3x what Google does.

Totally true - Oracle, IBM, Microsoft, etc. are old school.

IBM is just plain ancient - there is no IT company older than IBM. And RedHat is not some magic youth serum for them.

Microsoft is mixed - they actually are even cutting-edge in some areas but they're their own weird proprietary ecosystem and you either love it or hate it (90% of people).

And then there's Oracle, which has some amazing technology but is viewing only slightly more favorably than Saruman in most techie's eyes.
