    Classful addressing is deprecated since 1993. By "Class C" your friend might mean either simply a /24 worth of IPs, or per those old definitions, a /24 specifically within the range of 192.x.x.x to 223.x.x.x.

    Nobody has invented a time machine yet. By the time they do colocrossing will probably be the only ones still not using IPv6.
