Customer service is very unfriendly.
I've bought a lot of VPS at LET.
I've never met anyone so unfriendly.
I don't think it's a good idea to give your important data to a provider that threatens to delete your account.

    Based on the given evidence, I'd say the core issue lies with OP.

    I am not so fan of hostdoc but they aren't that unreasonable. They have rights to verify while you do have rights to walk away. If the first order processing is the problem for either party, you better stop there.

    Nothing wrong at their end.

  • I can't believe this thread.
    Client failed maxmind and we said we will manually verify it when we get to it.
    Client came back 2 hours later requesting if it had been verified yet. While preparing the response as you can see from above, they began flooding with the same request.
    We do not accept flooding in a live chat as it represents being impatient.
    We have a lot on our plate ensuring manual plans are built and delivered in a timely manner, responding to tickets, live chat etc and appreciate some patience as the client in question is not our only client.
    I mentioned we will no longer want their custom, came to LET to check PMs and noticed a message from said client with the same type of flooding.
    Okay, so maybe I was in the wrong and returned to live chat to respond that if it was a mistake, I will verify the account later if possible. Only to go to LET front page and see this??

    NO NO NO. Your custom is now not wanted in the least bit. You ooze nightmare client.

    • I just happened to need @HostDoc's support for an accidently misconfigured VPS and the issue was resolved within about half an hour.
    • This is LET, "LE" standing for low-end and at the low end anything lower than 3 hours response time is great.

  • HostDoc has the right to deny service to customers on their own discretion. They have decided that you are not a client they'd like to have due to spamming a question 4 times instead of just waiting for a reply.

    Being a budget VPS provider that runs on low margins, providing support to impatient clients like you sometimes may kill these margins and support's staff sanity altogether.

    Denying service seems like the most reasonable thing to do.

    About the only bad thing I see @HostDoc doing in that case was to not delete your account right away but to waste time on your stupid games.

    What kind of network transmission failure being sent multiple times makes it so that you have a line with a question mark, a line without a question mark, and a line with a question mark in that order? Is there packet loss too?
