I joined LET Around the time @Bopie started posting awesome offers. After the initial shared hosting oopsie (sorry to bring that up here, but painful as it might have been you guys rocked). So far it has been an awesome experience. Support is good, folks are responsive. I got the mail this morning about the Miami offer...but like a cat with her belly full, I am licking my paws and whiskers.. figuratively speaking. Otherwise one of the offers would have been snapped up.

  • @vyas11 Yeah I have to admit the support has been great. The Miami offers are really tempting I'm trying to resist 😂😂.

Yeah, looked like the host identified a spammer and gave them the banhammer.
What I got out of it anyways.

I really enjoyed the NorthHost's thread too, that was a great read ;P

I like that 1G for my small project! And looks like 2G's hourly pricing looks wrong: should be 0.007 (calculates 5$ / month) instead of 0.07 (calculates 50$ / month)

considering @Bopie is from the UK, dropping a zero from 007 is unpardonable.

  • I don't mean to be the supreme cheapskate, but all other plans' hourly is about more or less of their monthly pricing so I thought 2G plan got a typo or something. I mean look at 4G got $0.011 while 2G got $0.07.

@gazmull It seems to be a mistake. At the end of the day in the promo email it was stated that this is still getting worked on. So like a beta test.

    Quote's from the email:
"We are also trialling the use of Hourly VPS in Miami"
"Any issues or bugs can be reported to the support department"

  • No worries, just pointed out the typo.

Yes, I am in the correct forum to look for cheap plans and probably some dramatic reviews to be entertained with. I don't mean to offend anyone.

No offence taken, I guess the humour did not bloom as intended.

Your statement was "I didn't mean to be the supreme cheapskate." My intention was to ask "why not?" I thought that the very purpose of LET's existence was to bring cheapskates together! Okay some may be morecost value conscious than others.
    Cheers.

  • Well yeah the joke got out of hand. Haha! Cheers.

Yes standard hetzner DDos prot, No ipv6 because of the way we have to NAT hetzners stupid subnets.

Also, I really am thankful for everyone kind works without services, I have corrected the hourly prices as many of you are aware they were wrong and yes hourly is in testing.

We are trying our best to offer a service as no one else can, We can offer at the same price as everyone else but try to do support better by getting to know the need of our customers.
