Multiple pure-ftpd servers

Well, I wanna do this:

FTP server A
FTP server B
FTP server C

User credentials stored on remote MySQL server. All 3 FTP servers use same database.

The question: is this setup is logical/possible?

There is no problem with the servers using the same MySQL database/tables for auth.

Btw, the official pureftpd docu is also quite good and demonstrates different schemes.

What I would recommend is host mysql database on each pureftpd server. Enable mysql replication between them.

This way every pureftpd servers will be independent of the main mysql database.

When you make changes to users you change the master mysql, and all the changes are propagated to pureftpd servers.

Folders must be unique on each node. Than everything would be alright.
