    no, not worth it. It was terrible. I'm asking them to refund my Internet bandwidth.

    Local computer magazine (been published since the 80s) is my go-to place for game reviews. Games they rate highly are usually the ones I like.

    Age of Wonders III got 84 (out of 100).
    TLDR of the review:
    If you like turn-based strategies in fantasy world (elves etc), then you'll like it.

    Flaws:

    • Steep learning curve - until one gets the hang of it.
    • Computer oponent's AI fluctuates, from good to stupid, in both the world map and battles.
    • "Narration using static images and actors reading text is outdated" - the review is from 2014. :)

    There was some good discounts the last couple of weeks, I bought some games for just a few $

    It's a really good game if you like strategy games...I played the hell out of it when I first got released.
