ProxCP - 30% off ANY license - v1.2 just released

[OVERVIEW]

ProxCP is a full-featured extension to Proxmox VE for VPS hosting providers. Proxmox is well-known and very reliable but it is missing many features and convenience factors that would make it ideal for commercial use. ProxCP aims to solve this by providing a customer web interface that is easy to use with full billing integration. LXC, KVM, and KVM Cloud accounts are all supported.

ProxCP is relatively new but we care about the direction of the software and keeping it in line with what hosting providers want. Have a feature idea that ProxCP doesn't have? Let us know and it will very likely be added. The majority of updates made so far have come from user feedback.

[FEATURES]

ProxCP v1.2 was recently released with a focus on quality of life improvements to the admin interface and adding support for Blesta integration.

Outside of that, ProxCP features include:

  • Create, suspend, unsuspend, and terminate LXC and KVM services with ease

  • Built-in support for custom KVM templates that actually work with Proxmox

  • Prefer cold hard ISOs? Your users can upload ISO images themselves

  • Monitor VPS bandwidth usage and automatically suspend on overages

  • Manage forward and reverse DNS records

  • Integrate with DHCP servers for full provisioning automation

  • Firewalls, backups, rebuilds, and more!

[CHEAP LICENSES]

ProxCP has a licensing structure that fits any business no matter what stage it's in. We do need to cover development costs but we don't want to take 56% of your revenue just because.

Use coupon code JULYFOUR and receive a 30% recurring discount on any new ProxCP license! What does that look like for you?

https://proxcp.com/licenses

  • Basic license: $4/month

  • Starter license: $24/month

  • SMB license: $45/month

...this discount even includes owned licenses and branding removal. Want to try it out first? There is a free trial option you can pick up at any time.

I have single ipv4. Can this help create multiple boxes with NAT ipv4?

How do you create NAT boxes now? I'm not familiar with Proxmox and any special things you need to do for NAT.

If you can put this feature in and automate this, I'll buy it.

    Thanked by 2plumberg MrH

Open for consideration, but again I need to know how this is done currently. If you have a Proxmox node with 1 IPv4 and need to create NAT VMs, how are you doing it now? https://my.proxcp.com/submitticket.php?step=2&deptid=1

    One way is this:

    • Create a vmbr1 with a nat range (e.g. 10.0.0.1/24) attached to vmbr0 or eth0 or any interface.
    • Use vmbr1 as network interface for the natted vps.
    • Enable ip forwarding in debian.
    • Use ip rules on node to forward external ports to the nat address (e.g. 1.2.3.4:10122 to 10.0.0.101:22).
    • Use nginx reverse proxy (or any other proxy) on node to forward domain to the internal address.

    Voila!

  • Still valid?

Potentially interested in picking up a $800 owned licence with the 30% discount. Questions:

    1. What do updates cost after the first year and is this amount fixed or could it change over time?
    2. Are owned licences transferable (i.e. if we don't end up using it, are we just left with a hole in our pocket)?
    3. Any plans to improve the aesthetics?
    4. Does this have a SolusVM-style IP pool manager with different subnets and the possibility to assign some combination of pools to each node?
    5. What language is this written in? Is source code included?
    6. Is there a WHMCS integration and/or an API?
    7. Have you had any security audits?
    8. Do you have an already installed demo I can look around (mainly trying to get a feel for how complete the admin area is)
  • Does ProxCP provide an interface for the VM user, like Solus or Virtualizor or is it for the VM provider to manage the deployment on the host?

If the license runs out will it be possible for Proxmox to run as usual, but administered via the usual command line by both admin and clients?

I want to know if it will ease installation of VMs on my personal systems and when everything is working to my liking I allow the license to expire and run the VMs like I set them up the normal way, eg like VirtualBox, virtmanager,Virtual Machine Manager.

I have an idle VM which supports nested virtualization and I wonder whether ProxCP will be more helpful
