A good vps for Android development

edited June 2019 in Requests

I am looking for a vps that I can use to develop kernels for phones on.

I am interested in something with:

  • 3-4 GB ram
  • Preferably over 100GB storage
  • No more than $40 yearly if possible (nvm, below $100)

    Good luck

  • If you go over 60$ then it would be easier to find deals!

  • Ask in the last ultravps.eu thread, if someone is willing to part with their 10eur/qtr(incl 19%vat) 4gb kvm.

Did you get one yet in the end? I see you considered one.

Here is what i can do for you:

    2 Core (E5-2650v2)
    4GB RAM
    100 GB SSD,
    5TB monthly Traffic
    1Gbps Port
    Voxility DDoS Protection
    Netherlands
    1x IPv4
    $60/year

    PM me if interested

  • I take it you need it to offload the compiling? That's mainly CPU intensive stuff, would advise a dedi.

Which phones are you gonna dev for?

Yeah, that's very core intensive. Also RAM intensive. You can compile with those specs, but it's going to take a very, very long time. Dedi is definitely the better option for running compilations.
