edited May 2019 in Help

Hello,

When i add my own nameservers at the " Create "domain" objects " section for /23 ipv4 subnet.

I got the following error

Server is not authoritative for xxx.xx.45.in-addr.arpa.

Anyone can help me to add and configure the domain name with ripe so we can be able to add our rDns ?

I'll appreciate the help from anyone will provide it.

Thanks again.

    Hi
Did you create the xxx.xx.45.in-addr.arpa zone on your DNS Server before trying to add it to the RIPE DB?
Because RIPE DB checks if the DNS Server actually hosts the zone..

Yes i added the xxx.xx.45.in-addr.arpa zone on our DNS Server

    For example:

    xxx.xx.45.in-addr.arpa. NS ns3.skylakehost.com

    Is that's right?

You really should invest in some professional admin to help you run this infrastructure correctly.. You're not asking for tips, you're basically asking for someone to do it for you...

Your LIR or the datacenter should be able to help setting up your first zone.

There is really only one possibility, your DNS Server/Zone is not configured right. Or ripe has a problem which I doubt;)
Try dig xxx.xx.45.in-addr.arpa NS, it should return your DNS server.

Zone is not delegated so at the end you need to specify the NS server with
