the way it is worded so vaguely and leaves out VPS entirely, they could easily argue a vps is a webhosting server

Wouldn't recommend this at all. Awful I/O and some weird installation nonsense.

Their images don't include OpenSSH (had to enter into the emergency terminal to install and configure OpenSSH). At least for Ubuntu and Debian. They also use an extremely old version of Ubuntu (14.04? I forgot).

Also, I used the same V2Ray/ShadowSocks setup script on all my servers. HostMayo was the only host that suspiciously didn't work no matter how many re-installs I did. I could just never get Vmess/V2Ray to run on this server. I suspect it was from some aggressive process manipulation.

So even monkeys can idle their VPS safely.

Both are excellent choices when you compare and contrast to this hosts' unwillingness to even offer the 16.04 image.

I've tested only CN2 GT no CN2 GIA. They only provide older Linux version to install

In all seriousness definitely avoid openvz 6. KVM is better than vz7 imo.
