Windows - LUKS like offering?
On linux, we can mount Luks based encrypted partition (pre boot or post boot). Is that something similar available for windows where I can first enter the boot password and then boot? Or setup a encrypted partition.
What are my options? I am planning to use this on a kimsufi dedicated running win server 2012.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks.

Good luks with your LUKS
I think there's something from microsoft called BitLocker available on certain distributions which can do full-disk encryption etc ...
I have no experience with it (or anything microsoft for many merciful years now) but I'm guessing bitlocker may be as good a place as any to start - if you want to try putting a stronger lock on the screen door of your submarine
EDIT2: not to be confused with BotLicker or BootLiquor
Hmm. Interesting. I am wondering how will one be able to connect to the Kimsufi box to unlock the disk to boot. Thanks
right ...
YMMV but - if I had to do it "my way" I'd probably
end up runningstart out somehow trying to run windows inside a VM on a linux host setup, and then unlock the windows instance via RDP ... but I have no idea how well that would work.I'm guessing some folks here will have actual useful advice for you but in the meantime maybe some clues here:

Awesome, thanks. Will check
All the best for LUKS
Hmm.
