Maybe their data center is on a ship in the ocean outside of territorial waters (like pirate radio stations).

Get 50% OFF using coupon LOWENDTALK

  • Is Voxility protection automatically enabled for all of your NL located servers? I ask because you are back hauling your connection to Germany for filtering and it adds 23ms of latency since things are actually going NL -> DE -> NL to any NL based server. I want to know if you order service if it is also by default routed in the same way or not? I am hoping you just have it enabled for the looking glass to protect it from DDOS and its not something always on cause that effectively makes it located in 'Germany' when you start to compare latency. If this is only for your LG then can you please PM me the direct test IP I can use to actually see what the latency is in NL?

    Cheers!

Don't call the UK offshore, they don't like that.

Will be interesting to see when this company has to file, as it seems brand new (from the above post, and their statements on the ltd). They are also using a virtual office address from https://yourvirtualofficelondon.co.uk/. They also advertise as HostShield Private LTD before, which does not exist (?)

Not to be negative, but just so people are aware.

  • Why an UK company with server from HostSlim and UKServers should be offshore?
    maybe I missed something...

  • Hmm, obviously doesn't take selling here seriously since they can't even show up to answer any questions about their offer for more than 2 days when the question was posted moment after they updated their existing thread with a new coupon.

So, we have a host new to LET that joined March 22nd, just got a provider tag, posts a offer and then never comes back to the forums. Wow, such dedication to the community.

One things for sure, this is how you don't get new customers.

    my 2 cents.

    Cheers!

Just tag @VPSSLIM or @HostSlayer and they'll gladly get back to you.

    ;)

Edit 2: can also tag @VPSlices

What do they have to do with this question? Just because they are using Hostslim connectivity doesn't mean they employ always on protection for their whole network or that they can answer publicly details about their customers infrastructure / setup. So not sure why you tagged them in another hosts thread.

Yes, it's obvious this group doesn't care about this thread but that doesn't mean you should tag their upstream to answer questions on their behalf.

    Cheers!

They're all on a ship without radio comms.
