anyNode.net - Resource Pools from $12/yr (1GB RAM OVZ7)

anyNodeanyNode Member, Host Rep

Hello,

We today are here to offer a "resource pool/reseller" in our Miami location. All plans come with access to SolusVM Reseller CP (we are working on a custom theme, if you have any trouble just open a ticket!).

All plans are OpenVZ 7 hosted in Miami on new E3v5/E5v2, SSD hypervisors. Nodes have redundant power and redundant networking to our core network.

Due to some limitations by SolusVM/OpenVZ7 there is some things you need to be aware of.

  • All VMs are set to 1 core per VM, this can be increased via ticket only.
  • You can oversubscribe bandwidth on your plans, should you go over your limit you will be billed at a rate of $1/TB.
  • IPv6 only instances are currently not supported but are being considered.
  • BGP is not supported on these VMs

IMPORTANT!

PayPal, Credit Card & Credit orders are manually verified by a member of staff to ensure details match both the billing portal and payment processor. Bitcoin and AliPay payments are automatically verified. Users can get a 3 day money back on Stripe/PayPal orders, AliPay/Crypto are non-refundable.

Any questions please ask!

Is it not possible to add some vswap with all vps we create? Some apps like MySQL will have issue without swap.

  • sibapersibaper Member

    few question :

    1. Why max 1 per VM?
    2. for example 6 virtual machines max
can I use all of that resource on 1 vps only?

    Hello,

Yes you can. You can use all resources on 1 server. Max 1 core per VM is a limitation of solusvm we can edit it on request

They are the best🤗 and very polite signed up for 20 pool for openvz and soon will be joining kvm pool as well

  • I renewed my KVM and grabbed one of these resource pools, and they are great. It's the same SolusVM reseller interface that I've seen with another provider, and actually allows you to set rDNS etc yourself which is handy.

Performance has been excellent, only had a couple of 10 sec timeouts which is forgivable.

I took the $3/month for 2 VPS pool, created one for the project and using the leftovers to idle for now. Here's a bench.sh of the idler:

As answered in the other tread

We provide individual IPs by default (SolusVM limitation)

We can provide a /48 on demand per VPS.

It works fine for game servers that can work on OVZ7

We do provide managed but only for dedicated servers

I am not system person. so about the security etc...

  • @zomby1 these are unmanaged VPS so you’ll be responsible for securing them. It sounds like you are not competent in doing so 1) you will need to find an alternative provider who offers fully managed servers but expect to pay $$$ or 2) read online guides and tutorials on how you can do it yourself but it won’t be an overnight learning process.

If you are running a game server you will defiantly need a good knowledge base as it will quickly become a target and probably be under continuous attacks.

Hope that euro hosters will be providing OpenVZ 7 too instead of 6.

Once payment is made by paypal, which take time to give the vps working?

Sadly, anyNode is not great, is just cheap. It limits customers, for example VPN is not allowed:

iptables v1.6.1: can't initialize iptables table nat': Table does not exist (do you need to insmod?)

  • defaultdefault Veteran

@anyNode - any info regarding NAT limitation in kernel?

  • anekianeki Member

also cannot use ufw under Ubuntu at all, it's quite limited
