Gridpane is what on my mind when you say alternative to Runcloud.

My '2'cents
EasyEngine.
Thanks all. But I have to go with custom setup. As of now I can rate serverpilot is the best till now with more documents and error free system.
I have been using runcloud for a long time, even have them called out in my signature. I used serverpilot before them. Serverpilot was a much simpler version, Runcloud did a lot more. Need to play around with ploi, seems interesting. Runcloud kind of has me hooked as I got grandfathered into $10/month so it's tough to move.
Current price wise, I think ploi.io may be a better deal.
Anyone tried ClusterCS.com that I see is the only one that offers options to scale for HA?
Looking for trustworthy reviews before committing, as I have tried them all till now and I have narrowed it down to them.
Thanks ahead of time.
So I briefly investigated this after a family member came to me about high CPU usage with Wordpress. I needed to find a panel like Runcloud but free (and with free SSL support). Ploi.io ticks all those boxes. It's simple enough to setup and supports many providers such as Hetzner Cloud and Scaleway (pay per hour which was great). Overall, was a simple setup and I'd recommend at least trying them out since it is free for one site.

You might be interested in SlickStack, which is 100% open source:

Using the power of crontab and Linux cron jobs, every SlickStack server automatically backs up the production database on a recurring interval which can be adjusted in your
ss-config
It's also very portable and supports pretty much any provider on LET, since it's based on standard bash shell scripting... although KVM is recommended

You can also try Cipi Control Panel as well, open source alternative to Runcloud, Ploi.io, Serverpilot, Forge, Moss.sh and similar software.
