I'm looking for a VPS for backups with these specs:
128 MB RAM
1 TB Bandwidth
100 GB HD
less than or equal to $20 a year.
Is this possible ?

  • preferable locations?

  • Preferable in the EU.

  • I think you might struggle to get that amount of disk for $20 a year in europe.

  • We have KVM, 512MB RAM, 100GB Space for $40/year

  • Hello,

We can offer you 256 MB RAM, 100 GB HD and 1 TB Bandwidth for 28$/year. Germany - Frankfurt. For more info please hop on our live chat at pielayer.com to get direct shopping link.

It's preferable in EU but it could be in the US too.

  • Just do backup any where is not a good idea . If your backup is not very important fine but if the data should not go to a wrong hand then you'd better be careful where you host it

Do yourself a favor and get a backupsy storage VPS.
Drink one cappuccino less per month, and there you go... $40.

  • @fliphost has a very good plan (100GB -> US$2,00/month).

I don't think $1.67 will cut it for a cappuccino from Starbucks...

Ah you are correct. I took it $40 total for 12 cups, not the $20 shortage.

  • the budget is too low you will need to wait for a few years :)

+1. Actually it's a bit over $2/mo. Payable monthly. Best deal around for 100GB. Ask @Fliphost, maybe he can offer you annual plan within your budget. Location is Dallas, TX.
