Hi, these are RAID 10 SAS disks, if you need higher IOPS, we can indeed transfer you to our RAID 10 SSD disks (the price will be higher)

The transfer from SAS => SSD will not have any downtime, as it can be migrated live :)

If it is related to sales, it should be handled faster Monday - Friday. If it is technical, please PM me your ticket ID and I'll make sure it's answered as soon as I read your PM

Hi, if you are referring to IO performance in terms of units, I would go for a RAID 10 SSD server which can get you higher IOPS https://app.cloudcone.com/compute/create (Please verify under options if it says RAID 10 SSD)

We are awaiting a batch of new servers with higher CPUs that will help increase the performance per $ :)

However, the disks on these offers will stay RAID 10 SAS. If you need to upgrade to SSD, we can do a live migration (without any downtime) of your server onto our SSD nodes.

  • He posted a disk test showing less than 20 Megabytes/sec. Unless those are very small IO units, it indicates a problem you (Cloudcone) might want to refute, as hopefully those are aberrant numbers!

On another matter, I disagree that the terms are 'agreeable'. Though (sadly) common, why would someone accept that indemnity clause?
