You'd be surprised how many folks lurk on LET that are part of larger organizations/companies. Maybe it's just for laughs, maybe it's for a personal project.
@xTom for example, isn't a summer host and it's more than believable they would have a customer needing a /16 or could afford one at market price today.
Anyway, point being - there are certainly folks on LET that may have legacy space, access to a /16, or know/have heard of someone who does. No harm in asking since you never know.
