Where do you guys advertise?

serversupportzserversupportz Member, Host Rep

I've been running my company for about 3 months now, and for the first 1 months we got about 6 clients/month, which I thought was pretty good because we were not advertising at all. Anyway, nowadays, we've only gotten one new client and I can't seem to figure out the reason for the drop-off, but I'd like to have those numbers pick up.

  • Do you know where those 6 clients a month were coming from?

  • Do you have happy clients?
What about your competitors, are they having sale or new cheaper prices?
There can be lot's of reasons...

most of our clients come organic ranking and word of mouth. We do a little posting of promo from time to time but the bulk is going to be word of mouth and rankings and local market

  • Well, you could start by fixing your whmcs so the login page isnt forced to post to a non-ssl page.

  • I just stick leaflets of my VPS hosting on lampposts. Good sales all year round would 100% recommend it.

@eol I need a business success meeting with you. I never thought about the message in a bottle approach when selling stuff, sounds like a good idea. I have only have had that idea in the past when considering sending a HDD to @cociu.

    I see.
Personally I think it's also a great option for the ticket system.
Bottles and messages are widely available and usually easy to get by.

You could post a thread on LET and in your signature you could advertise your services. You could then open a lot of useless posts just to get people to see your signature.

    Oh wait...

You are also not allowed to modify their trademarks like this - https://serversupportz.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/0003.jpg - they would not allow any partner to do this?

I find that asking people repeatedly on LET whether they've tried 'switching off and on again' to pretty much any issue generates some traffic, failing that just call them a fud.

  • For me i don't have too worried as long as you keep on stay at LET, what i am doing is just invest my time, update content, curating the product plan, bring members which has products to see where the link come from, than you plan make something insight within your website, and then you mixing up with locally community bring to them "hey look up for this , maybe it's useful to you..." well it's just about only short beginning, as long as you keep update your website think about it will give you a great potentially your friend's member or service specialist got customer coming.

Anytime you end a word with the letter z to think it is cool actually it is kinda of cringe worthy. Really no one will take you serious and not knowing how to do basic tasks as redirecting the whmcs login page to ssl. So letz keep itz realz. See how stupid it soundz

Typos on the nav-bar don't help either. Consider changing "Monitering" to "Monitoring" under Services.
