Avoro 0.93€ KVM VPS

Looks like 1&1 and their 1€ VPS started some offers. Avoro is currently having a sweet sale for people who need another idling VPS in Germany.

1 dedi core
512 MB RAM
10 GB SSD
10 Gbit (shared)
1 TB traffic
1 IPv4 & 1 IPv6
200 Gbit/s ddos protection
Frankfurt
12 month contract
11,11€ per year
Looking Glass

Order Link

No idea what dedicated core means but my best guess would be dedicated thread.
No idea about VAT removal but their website is german only so I'm not sure if they are interested in serving non-eu customers.
No idea about the provider. A friend just send me the link because I love collecting VPS just like all of you.

Still have their Xmas 2 x dedicated thread vps.
    Never seen downtime.
Generous with ram on their vservers.
First Colo has very nice and stable network.
Only downside is that their SSD speeds aren't that fantastic.

Never heard of them. Same DC as php-friends it seems.

1 Dedicated core for 11EUR/y? must be a typo.

  • Another high power VPS with piss poor storage - meh. Should be an option for SAS etc. (IMHO)

Yeah, that's the one that caught my eye. ;-) 200GB SSD-cached HDD would be a better match?
Couldn't be bothered Google translating the German - I wonder what onerous cancellation policies they have. :-/

It's prepaid - so you have to pay before you get your service. So you do not have to cancel your server (the same cancellation policie as nitrado - if you know them).

  • are'ent we are already covered in germany by hostdoc, sexy FR_Michael, gametown-projects and what are they called Hetzir Henter ... you know.

    FarnoX uses Accelerated in FRA.
Avoro uses First Colo in FRA
    First Root uses DUS
    1&1 uses again other datacenters.

So why skip on the cheap offers, when they included redundancy?

    11EUR is "nothin"

Their machines are stable and vServer has dedicate CPU cores. I have been using it for nearly two months without any problems.
