Hi all,
Someone attacking our site continuously. We have hosted our site with dedicated KVM vps. Attack still going even if down our site. It looks attack IP based. So we have moved our site to another hostnode with different IP address and used cloudflare. But spammer start attacking new IP again. If we stop our VPS, attack routed to neighbor VPS on same hostnode/ dedicated server. We have put DDOS rules in our dedicated server (hostnode) as well as our site VPS. But none of them control attacks.
Please help to stop this attack and what type of attack is this and provide any iptables/firewall rubles.
Thanks

Please don't double post: https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/155663/how-to-stop-ddos-attack-on-shared-hosting
Good luck with your server, it sounds like you own a host. Don't take things for granted, DDOS attack is always an issue and don't expect someone to help you for free.
it's not double post if it's from a different user account!?!
Can't blame the poor sob. Seems like it will be a winter host.
Could be the same person. Since his first thread went shithole, he is opening another with a new account since his first account is starting to grow a reputation for being utterly clueless.
He won't get a good answer regardless.
The end was nigh.
Multiaccount. 3 of them
Thrice nigh, for naught
