Translate Fleio into German and get a license for your work
Hey,
We're looking to translate Fleio into German.
Fleio is a web hosting billing and OpenStack control panel and cloud billing solution.
Fleio translations are released as open source (BSD license): https://github.com/fleio/fleio-i18n
Here are the strings to be translated:
- Fleio backend: https://github.com/fleio/fleio-i18n/blob/master/translations/backend/locale/ro/LC_MESSAGES/django.po
- Fleio frontend: https://github.com/fleio/fleio-i18n/blob/master/translations/frontend/po/template.pot
Requirements:
- You must be a native German speaker. We'd like use "Hochdeutsch" and have just one German translation for now
- general understanding of the cloud & web hosting industry and concepts
- would be great if you have software translation experience
- Ideally you'll also be able to maintain the translation. We're releasing about 1 version per month.
Email us at hello {o] fleio.com and tell us why you're the right person to translate Fleio into German (see 4 points above) and what Fleio license level you want to get for your work,
Cheers!
PS: if you don't have the time for this, can you recommend a German web hosting forum where I can post this? 10x

What about money?
Are you a native German?
Yes.
Will do it for a dick pic.
Crowdin works fine, can easy import stuff and find people for free/money to translate stuff.
Can you provide an aryan certificate?
Ich bin ein Auslander.
Why?
Oh you don't do this stuff anymore
Sure. He bought it from Alex Jones.
That's news to me.
So you're giving a license to translate your platform, and everytime you have an update. It's like you're hiring a translator, but not paying with $ but with a license. What happens if he does not continue updating the language translation? License removed?
Are you a native German speaker and interested in the project?
Are we playing a game answering questions with another question?
Who wants to know?
No games here. Just asking: what position you're asking from. To know what to answer.
Maybe just answer the question?
What he just said.
For anyone actually qualified and interested in the project: just send an email and state your terms.
Do you want an owned lincense? Which one? Are you able to maintain the translation for a year or so or just willing to do an one off job?
We can accomodate various requests.
Cheers!
Except straightforward answers. Or payment for services rendered.
Meh.
Viel Glück mit Ihrer Übersetzung.
Danke schön!
I'm a German native speaker (Hochdeutsch). I can help you out, however money would be more appealing than a Fleio license - I'm not really interested in selling hosting services.
You could use Yandex API to translate your English language files into German and then just pay someone to go over translations correcting only the sentences which were translated out of context or sound weird - should be much cheaper than asking for a full translate service.
Well, you can do it the shit way or the good way.
Your choice.
based on those two files it's about 4000 phrases. haven't counted words but if you have 4-5 words on average it's about 15k-20k words. normal price in germany afaik is 0.15 to 0.20€ per word. do the math.
Lol, i should have learned german. 2250€ at least with @Falzo 's calculation.
It's never too late.
PM'd.
Fellatio into German.
