Sorry for not including the location. The location is Phoenix AZ USA (we have private cages in Phoenix NAP).

We currently only offer CentOS 6 or 7 for our auto install servers, but we are working on expanding that.

Hmm. Where does it say that?

    In the rules.

Can't find it listed in the rules for selling here:
    https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/153228/rules-for-selling-on-lowendtalk-updated-04th-jan-2019

More than happy to admit when I'm wrong, but I honestly haven't been able to locate that rule. Thanks

  • eoleol Member

    Hm.
I thought I read it somewhere...

Honestly, the only reason why it's currently for new customers is because of a shortcoming in the signup script, which would require more time for us to modify (which we will do at some point).

If you are an existing customer and would like to take advantage of the offer, please open a ticket with us and we would be glad to honor it.

It has nothing to do with your offers.
The rules don't "LET" New Customer to post Offer.

    What

Whenever someone claims a forum rule, it's never to be found (that I've seen so far). They think people won't look it up. It's pretty fucking easy compared to checking local government laws. It's a fucking sticky.

  • 1gservers1gservers Member, Patron Provider

Yeah, not to hard to read the sticky thread for the rules lol

Is that $44/month offer customizeable? The non-ssd disk is a real bummer but I like the $5/month per /29 subnet. 16GB ram would be nice plus minus $6...

Can we register without having anything to do with LET?

    I have a question:

    E3-1241v3
    16GB RAM
    120GB SSD x 2 (Software RAID 1)
    /30 (1IPv4) + /28 (13 IPv4)
    20TB Transfer (1gbps port)
    Phoenix, AZ

    Order Summary
    Setup Price: $0.00
    Monthly Price: $82.00
    Due Today: $82.00

Is this worth it? Any contracts? Honestly, the specs are just so-so but the IPs make me itchy... Are they still virgin or re-used stuff?

Our auto deploy servers are customizable in these areas (on the order form):

    • CentOS 6 or 7
    • Secondary IP assignment (/29 or /28)
    • Bandwidth / Data Transfer
    • Monthly or quarterly term

There are no contracts outside of the term you choose. Meaning if you choose quarterly to get the discount, we won’t cancel until the billing cycle ends.

As far as IP assignments go, they are automatically assigned by our auto provisioning system out of the available pool. Just like any other provider, of course the IPs have been used by other customers.

I will mention, since you specifically asked, that we do offer servers with SSD’s and NVMe’s. Just click to view our complete stock to see all options.

Lastly, although the offer advertised in this post is exclusive to LEB, you don’t need to be connected to LEB to signup for it. No special code required.

What's the point of blanking out your carrier's name? You could also do a traceroute/MTR to speedtest.1gservers.com to provide some further insight into your high latency.

Haha. 🤣 this privacy stuff is getting on my nerves lately...

I’ll do a traceroute later. I’m on IOS now no idea how to do that without downloading an app...

  • 1gservers1gservers Member, Patron Provider

Sure, we can all understand to protect privacy. High latency or sub-optimal routing on a mobile/4G connection is nothing new.

And you’re claiming to be in SEA as in Seattle US?

The first hop that you didn’t hide is for the APAC region, and that’s before the traffic goes onto our transit providers network.

    Who is your mobile carrier?

No wonder you got really interested...

280ms is not that bad actually, i've seen worst at 400 before...

sorry for the miscommunication... in return, i gave u a bunch of free bumps and we are back to square one...

My apologies. Yeah we have lots of traffic going towards SEA - we usually see around 182ms to Singapore for example.
