    Monthly or Yearly?
    月付还是年付?

  • monthly bro

  • Go with alibabacloud. They have multiple datacenters in Peking, Shanghai, Chengdu and something.

  • Good luck in China.

    Thanked by 2eol syntrino
  • check https://www.alibabacloud.com please, you can get SGP for 4.5$/month or HK for 9$/month

Sorry I misunderstood your post. You could opt for their SGP or HK locations. Generally their HK servers are around 50 ms to most parts of mainland China. One thing to bear in mind is that for website unblocking in China, VPN probably won't work quite well; you should consider shadowsocks.

    Can’t open it I don’t know why

  • Mostly popular: Bandwagonhost, plans with CN2 support.

But due to its popularity, it may attract special attention...

  • I think even the NSA are little boys compared to chinese surveillance.

NSA simply knocks your door when you do some serious shit. The Chinese counterpart sends in a SWAT team to take you out.

If you want less than 100ms difference, pretty sure any NA locations won’t do it. Try checking Tokyo locations from Linode/Vultr

check our looking glass https://lg.hosteons.com if it works for you can you order our VPS from https://hosteons.com/vps.php

  • Ping < 100 even CN2GIA could not do it.
Just think about VPS in Hongkong, Taiwan, Korea or Japan.

  • @randvegeta has very good connections to China. Be prepared to pay a lot for the bandwidth though

    AWS, Google Cloud, Gigsgigscloud

$10? If you need good China BW, that buys you about 50GB/m data transfer.

  • JerryHou said: plans with CN2 support.

CN2 doesn't help with China Unicom, because China Unicom's traffic goes through 163 not Chinanet/CN2. I've seen VPSes where latency to China Telecom / China Mobile (both of which use CN2) to be 30ms but latency to China Unicom is over 450ms.

  • Gigsgigs jumps to CN2 even using China Unicom. but above 140ms ping.
100ms you can only try like HK, JP which latency to Zhejiang can achieve 40ms.
Don't use Vultr/Linode they're horrible to all 3 main Carrier at night.
AWS is only good on China Telecom but still unstable because of its low bandwidth (get easily DDoS).

Try register alibabacloud.com as mentioned above.

Or try Osaka region on HostKVM($8/month with promo code 2018(not sure when it'll expire)), Tokyo region is a little bit weird. 80Mbps stable bandwidth with great latency to China Telecom and China Unicom as I tested. The IP is not registered via JPNIC though.

You can help me test more servers by using https://hostkvm.wenjingnetwork.com/aff.php?aff=495 to register.

AWS is using same link as Vultr/Linode on China Unicom.
GCP's ping is extremely jitter and has expensive traffic to China.
GGC I tried(activated now not going to recurring) LA CN2GIA, and bandwidth is not so that satisfying but latency is pretty stable.

Why not just get a VPN service? ExpressVPN is very popular in China and I hear only good things.

That guy gets commission, but you also get a discount if you sign up via him:

    https://www.tipsforchina.com/best-vpn-for-china.html

The problem with your own VPS is, if that gets blocked, that's it. Because you just have 1 IP. A VPN service has an IP pool and will swap IPs if they get trouble.

  • You should not be able to open international version of Aliyun(alibabacloud) in China🙃.

Don't use PPTP OpenVPN L2TP which has obvious characteristics for the firewall to detect, and don't share it with multiple people you should be fine.
Popular VPN servers are most concerned objects to targeted block.
