Virmach Black Friday Deal for sale

Hello LET,
I bought one of Virmach Black Friday plans in a bit of an unthought purchase like anyone sometimes does. It comes with 20 GB Disk, 30 GB RAM and 3 TB Bandwidth. I realized I don't really need so I am looking to sell it to anyone. It renews at $66.81/year and is located in Dallas, Texas.
I am looking for 60$ or best offer. I pay transfer fee.

  • Why don't you post it on jewdeal.io or whatever the hell it is?

  • 20GB disk and 30GB RAM? radio rental

    I thought I would first offer it to any fellow LET member who missed out on it or needs it

  • Those were the worst. Why would anyone want a system with more RAM than disk?

    Also specify the amount of vCores, IPv4, Port as it's missing that info

  • What spesific usage could something like this be used for? Memory higher than disk. Just curious, someone?

    @VirMach is a mean drunk.

  • @inthecloudblog, out of curiosity, how fast are the vCPUs? Read in the BF about some slower than snails.

  • I have their last year 3 core KVM in Buffalo. Super deal at $2 a month but it's... not fast. Also I think they get antsy if you compute too much on it. I never got around to cancelling it but probably should, since I wanted it mostly for disk space, and I have a BuyVM storage slab now.

    experiment?
    convert 90% ram into ramdisk
    turn 90% disk into swap

    Not if properly secured.

    Emm....

  • good vps for dedicated php

  • I have similar issue, 12 GB RAM, 20 GB SSD, 6 vcore, Windows possible. I could not use windows there now due to space constraint, took about 48 USD/year, KVM. There are option to increase SSD by 10 GB/2 USD per month.

    Does VirMach KVMs allow Docker?

    Just checked. Can confirm it works.

    @FAT32 thanks for the fix.
    It's allowed if the docker requirements are fulfilled with our packages

    I also think dockers always works on KVM (unlike OVZ)

    Anyone running a database application smaller than 20GB.

    Seriously, you people don't all have 32GB+ ram in your desktops and have some ramdisk?

  • Get 1TB RAM and run everything off Tails.

    I'll call you out on that. Not good.
