feelsbad, my old E3-1245v2 that i bought several years ago when soyoustartdidn't exist costs 55 EUR ex/vat and the same one (actually 480GB SSD instead of mine 120GB) is being sold for 30 EUR now. Too bad sys doesn't have the option for permanent mitigation. Any chances for old customers to get discounts for 6-12 pre payment or some 32GB ovh dedi deals in France @ninzo59

They don't do that unfortunately. I have many servers that have a 40% price premium because they lowered prices, exact same hardware, a billing rep told me that my high prices were a promotion.

  • I've picked up an E3-SAT-1-32 to replace my old Kimsufi KS-3C from last year's pre-black friday flash sale. Still getting it for about $11/mo.

Indeed, that sucks. Especially since you can't transfer your OVH IP to SYS either. I remember when we could pay 12 months upfront and get 3 months for free ... them good days.

Ty for sharing the information @MikeA

    More apac deals please

APAC always gets shit deals lets be honest

To be fair the $3/m AUD 1gb/1tb VPS from their discovery offer was fairly good, by Aus standards anyway.

Mine keeps billing at $3/m. You didn't prepay a year in advance. I guess I'll see when a year's up.

Missed it again! Went out to the mall for some physical black thursday shopping and missed the replenishment!

Can I hope for another replenishment tomorrow? Or no?

They keep doing it all the time, just keep checking.

    Alright! Thanks!

My old BHS1 server can consistently do 10 MB/s for example so Softlayer Seattle.

    wget http://speedtest.sea01.softlayer.com/downloads/test100.zip

My new SSD server in BHS1 will always go up to like 5-6 then finish at around 2 MB/s.

Consistently, I can repeat it many times.

  • is there any reliable WHMCS module to manage these servers?

  • @kreken right now it's 333KB/s in 36s

Is there a way to diagnose packet loss to an external server?

They changed the SSD VPS 2 to the first year instead of the first month. Not bad, I guess
