LET slowly

Hi guys,

Since a few days the LET sites needs more than 30 seconds to load.
I verified this from some different clients / networks.
Is it only from my site or has any guy hier the same problem?

Only you. LET has been loading within a second for a while now and I visit here every single god damn day, sadly.

  • Something wrong on your side. Site is loading fully within 2 seconds for me.

Got some OIL? we can trade, We can give you some cloudflare.
A POP in your city, will make it fast.

  • LET has been very slow for me, too. (Germany, DTAG) It takes about 15 seconds to load after every click and I thought it was an IPv6 dual stack problem, but disabling it brought no relief.

Using a VPN helps, however. It's weird because LET uses Cloudflare and I have no problem with my own website behind Cloudflare.

Your site on a free plan might not be using the same PoP.

  • Same here since days. LET in unbearable slow. Vodafone cable network, Germany. It's much faster via T-Mobile.

  • No problems here. Loads up fast.

  • Hm, I’ll do some TESTS

thats about 10 reports all from Germany.

  • LET seems to have piqued the interest of the BND.

  • LET is loading fast, in 2 seconds, and on Internet Explorer. Maybe it's OP's browser.

  • Yep, loads fine for me too!

  • Blazing fast load from Indonesia..No issue..

  • Yesterday, the site was loading terribly slow from T-Mobile Macedonia and Telekom MK via apple safari on ios.

I am talking like 20-30 seconds for a page load.

Now, i am accessing LET from Telekabel MK via chromium on ubuntu and it seems to work well.

Ze Germans can test that using this btw: https://lowendtalk.com/cdn-cgi/trace

Same problem here, not usable in Germany

Gosh. The average post quality nosedived over the past week or so

  • Actually the same applies for today too.

  • This file is the one that takes forever to load and results in a timeout, if you remove the "?v=2.6.3" it loads instantly. For now I just disabled JavaScript, Vanilla works without it.

Strange is, that this issue occured the first time a few days ago. I had have no problems before. And i made no changes on my Browser or Router. Hmmm...

Well, I'd say it's your own fault if you use unitymedia or cable in general.

  • Same problems for days now.

After I disabled JS I can use LET again.
    Thanks @lion

    From Germany; Unitymedia

Maybe the mods could take a look?

probably not much that they can do about, as it seems to be a weitd issue between cloudflare and some ISPs. who knows why on only some of them https://www.lowendtalk.com/js/library/jquery.form.js?v=2.6.3 gets a 522 error but https://www.lowendtalk.com/js/library/jquery.form.js does not?

as said before, easiest way is to block that specific url in your adblocker, at least that worked for me.
