The traffic is fluctating from 1500 to 2500.

Theme is outdated and website is slowly opening because of some javascripts and plugins files.
1)2 CPU, 2GB RAM, 40GB SSD (This is much cheaper) 20 usd unmanaged
2) 2 CPU, 4GB RAM, 60GB SSD

you dont have to buy vps. buyshared reseller enought for 3k hit if you know how to install cache.
I have to go with ssd vps becauese i believe it will increase speed and much more suitable for the site.
sure. you try to use contobo
Well, SSD is not magic, but whatever floats your goat.
yeah. Plus VPS is much better than shared hosting.
so what do you suggest about server management?
Id like to reduce costs.
So directadmin and my own management. But i have little to no knowledge on that.
the downside of contabo is they charge 50 eur for just management.
but their price for server is good.
No, VPS is only bette rif u know how to config it correctly. we have shared hosting on VPSes that work perfect for 10k+ hits mostly because most of the sites are idle anyway.
If your sites needs a VPS its shitty made and needs optimalisations
My 1 core / 512 MB VPS handles 3000-5000 UVs easily. I use openlitespeed/lscache for wordpress site.
You can't help an ignorant person who is very stubborn in his ignorance.
I am sorry. I can't help myself.
A terminal window.
I mean really, you are correct in that a VPS will likely give you better overall performance over a shared provider putting you in a cage but that said if you are then looking to install a control panel on it you are really defeating the gain and if you can't manage it then you are heading for a fall, so stick with shared.
You know where the problem is, you should solve it by doing optimization instead of migrating to vps because that problem would get bigger as unique visitor grows.
solid webhosting can handle this.
Centminmod + get a slice
I am sorry your site needs a better web master
try hostmantis, ramnode shared plans for your WP site. I've WP sites with 10K+ u.v. a day with image on each post, with over 50K posts on both the hosts and doing fine. They've litespeed, LScache, opcode, APCu, memcached, everything!
You can try. Upgrade the resource if it is not enough to run.
