I think only root WHM can enable the Display File Usage.
I only have cPanel. I don't have root access of WHM. My cPanel doesn't show Inode.
Only other easy way would be to run
ls | wc -l
through the cPanel terminal if that is available.You can request your host to enable the option "Display File Usage information in the cPanel stats bar (inode count)" in the WHM Tweak Settings. I think most of the hosts will allow it.
