I bought KVM VPS on last sale (sysadmin day). So far so good, but one thing: they limits disk I/O speed to 100MB/s (even SSD). You decide about pros and cons.
As I understand this offer is for standart VPS, not for storage VPS.

If we could do recurring discounts we would just set the lower prices. Recurring discounts are the way of telling you can go do business and charge lower prices but you just like money too much and keep your prices up.
These non-reccuring promos are for new customer to do not hesitate and try our services. Also for people looking for additional servers.
We try to prove that our services are good enough and people would keep it after the period.
If you consider to review your pricing scheme for KVM and provide less RAM resourses will be a better solution.

I assume storage price will drop over years, so after 2 years, maybe new price range available?
Probably prices for OVZ will drop significantly within 2 years so it will be almost free :-)
