There's now ever so slightly too much vertical space between lines on long posts, this wasn't the case before.

OK, maybe "too much" is debatable, but definitely more than before, and this doesn't seem like an improvement, but feels weird/wrong.
Looking into CSS of the paragraph via Chrome Inspect, "line-height" is now 1.7. Changing it to various values, it seems like it was 1.5 (or 1.6?) before.
LET seems much more responsive now.

It's a question of style -- not inherently right or wrong. Slightly more space can also increase readability.
I agree with @rm_ here, I'd prefer line-height 1.5 ;-)
