INIZ review (1 month): Great service at excellent value!

I was a customer of Iniz some months ago, just to test a vps offer they did. I did't use them then, although the box was good enough.
I used their offer on LET of an "OpenVZ.IO - IO3G", that costs £3 with their recurring discount and bought a box a month ago, to host a production site of mine (news portal, 4.5K - 5.5K visitors per day, heavy MySQL and load, mail server, ftp server, crons and backup processes).
In the last month I use it, my experience is awesome! 100% uptime, very stable, very good speed. Serverbear's benchmark score is 1505.8 and I test it with full load (on line production site, backing up at that time, to see the real performance in a live environment)

This is my bench results:

Thanks guys for your excellent product.

EDIT: The 6 days uptime was due to a reboot I did manually to apply a change.

INIZ is great support is almost instant with Patrick, submitted a ticket yesterday expecting the usual few hours but Patrick replied almost instantly! Props

  • I'm also a customer since 3 Sept 2013, but maybe I will give a review about them in March 2014 :D

    • Support is fast and friendly.
    • VPS is fast and stable.

I just can't browse Hulu using OpenVPN because the IP database is not updated yet. Not a problem from Iniz, but from GeoIP maybe :)

  • Thanks for the visit from someone located in Canada :)

I think that's Hulu getting clever, nothing to with Iniz. I was just talking about this very thing with a buddy today, his previously working VPS in Choopa with 24kHost has suddenly stopped working.

Have you tried other sites, like Crunchyroll or NBC.com? I'm able to view their US content via my NY OpenVPN server with Iniz, but I can't watch anything on Hulu now.

its due to DNS leak, if you fix that you'll be able to view hulu. Just change to googles dns 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4

  • I can open any other US content, but not Hulu. My openvpn dns is already using google dns. I've asked to Digital Ocean too, and there's possibility that Hulu is blocking DO and INIZ. :)

  • Agreed. I am one of @Iniz's happy clients :-)

This is probably the answer. I've had similar issues with a few websites in the UK that block me whenever I'm using OpenVPN.
