Dedicated any country

I'm new to lowend, but recently found probably good offer on ServerMania - 48$ year 2Gb ram 100 cached ssd, thanks to lowend offer link! Finally got rid crappy shared bluehost which was throttling my income by using some resource limiting technic.
And now need Dedicated server on reasonable price. Is anything available on yearly basis as ServerMania offered to get low price ?
Also i got 2 dedicated servers one in Hetzner, 2xAthlon 8 Gb ram, 2x750 HDD for 25 euro/month and Kimsufi 2G - Intel Atom 2 Gb ram, 500GB HDD for 10 euro/month.
Kimsufi pretty overloaded already, on FreeBSD nginx+phpFPM setup it uses 400 - 500 swap. But there is one non-technical problem also - I can't get more ram server as i'm not EU citizen, so looking for addition or replacement.

Hetzner is good for the money, online.net might also have what you are after. In US there are many dedicated providers, I will let someone there to chime in.

  • Yes, i'm fine with Hetzner, caught this server on their auction https://robot.your-server.de/order/market for 30 euro in May and i don't pay VAT so 25 euro. Ammount of ram is high priority for me, as i host plenty websites. Online.net offers 8Gb ram server for 90 euro, for such money i may get 32 Gb Ram server in OVH or Hetzner even with SSD.

    Thanked by 1woochun
  • online net has 8gb server for 30€ http://www.online.net/fr/serveur-dedie/dedibox-classic and 16gb for 50€

  • Thanks, great! This for 30 euro is much better than mine in Hetzner. Hope available for non-EU, will try to get info from them.

  • Is someone know where below available ? As i know Cortex-A9 bit better Atoms and these are 4 cores. RELIABLESITE.NET told these are not available anymore.

    Quad Core Samsung Cortex-A9 (4 x 1.7 Ghz)
    2 GB RAM
250 GB HDD or 64 GB SSD
    100 Mbps Dedicated Port
    5 TB Premium Bandwidth
/29 IP Block (5 Usable IPs)
    Debian OS ONLY
    ONLY $19/mo + FREE SETUP
CONTACT [email protected] FOR A CUSTOM QUOTE OR TO ORDER

  • I think you should be clear with what you want, so people can give you better suggestions.
How much RAM, what is the budget, CPU and disk requirements, etc.

  • wholesaleinternet has Xeon E3 1230 v2 for 49 dollar, it woud 10x better than atlon ad atom processor :)

  • 4Gb ram preferable, CPU any, disc space from 40Gb, location any. 25$/month max.

  • Where are you from? What will you use it for? Is an Atom CPU enough for you (i know you said any CPU, but i'm going to ask anyway).

  • rds100, strange question, from mother Earth, sitting on chair in Ukraine. Atom D425 is enough to run 43 Wordpress websites on 2 Gb ram, such amount on my Kimsufi one.

Hmm, good price for this https://www.datashack.net/cart/?id=181 But i don't see availability of FreeBSD installation, probably not and would buy if it 25$/month, need to think about.

Are servers located in the USA (west coast) acceptable? If so, you can get the server in my signature for $39.95 per month with the promo code E6XJULW7M0

  • price out of my limit, sorry. Location isn't so important.

what is the reload-reinstal-kvm policy of datashack like? i dint heart-read much about it. is it free ? or over web panel or kvm?

  • Really i don't know, try email them. 10 mis ago i sent ticket, to ask if they allow FreeBSD deployment, and get their test IP.

  • DataShack sales ticket? Good luck! I've emailed them several times and have never gotten a reply, I know I'm not the only one. I've heard their support is actually quite good though.

  • :) Ok, i see, seems guys have more important to do.

  • Link from lowendtalk just brought me here http://volumedrive.com/vdrive/?a=Tiy0Qqy8 very nice within my limits. How about their reliability and support ?

  • i was thinking that server too but 40$ for 8 gb ram upgrade makes me think. id buy and upgrade if ram upgrade was lower. (i am not a server guru, i am considering my wallet)

  • @tridinebandim go to newegg.com or your favourite hardware shop, see how much ram costs and then think again :)

Yeap, rds100 right, around 40$, so price for upgrade more then justified. They can put FreeBSD via normal set up, looks very promising. Just sent them email, let see how quick they react.

Hmm... I got decent reply from sales a couple of weeks ago, all were replied within 24 hours. I asked if I can get 4x500GB disks instead of 2x1TB, responded and delivered without additional fee.

This was their reply about reinstall and KVM:
IPMI is included if the server supports it. One free install is included per billing cycle. After the free reinstall is used it is $25.00/reinstall.

Support responses are much faster than sales. I did borrow a KVM a couple of times, not much problem unless there is a line of waiting list.

Reliability? WHT is rife with accounts of how they fled with their equipment from their last DC, leaving hundreds of customers stranded..
