  • That VPS is so premium. Couldn't fault it performance wise. Would love to have been able to have vt-x passed through for a single small kvm (purely for an encrypted install of debian for nextcloud which will see use maybe once a week) but was told by support it would hammer IO. Shame because that would have given me a reason to renew it lol

@dahartigan I/O and CPU, but you can run NextCloud on your "hypervisor" and encrypt it's own filesystem?

  • I could do that but it would mean I'd have to rework my setup. Right now it would be a matter of copying 2 files and I can migrate it with practically zero changes.

I have a particular way I like to play with my toys. I will let it idle out since it doesn't suit my needs but for $7 it was worth playing with and getting a feel for a different provider.

I 100% would recommend the deal to anyone who wants a really premium kvm and doesn't need vt-x passed through :)

Why not just host our data in Utah's IC CNCI datacenter?

  • @Radi 100Mbps is hard capped?

    Yes.

Second that. I already moved a lot of my personal data there. Ok, it's in Utah... But for free, it's unbeatable!

    Order ID?

  • 564999016 it's probably my fault. I have a bunch of remotes open may have accidentally used one of them.

  • KVM S Packet is so attractive, it's pretty fair enough if it used in windows desktop, awesome, for $7 price.

  • Bought one server from drserver. Good service !

  • what is the different between KVM-S drserver.net & KVM-DAL-E5-S-X2 vikinglayer.com ? seems similar spec & price
