I need VPS with strong core, ram not important, minimum 2 cores.

Hello,

I need reliable VPS with strong performance per core, the total cores are not very important probably two will do the job

I measure this performance using Geekbench 3. Here are some results i did: "Geekbench 3 CPU Results"

I need anything more than 3000 points as CPU score

If you ever did those tests to your vpses it would be good to know which providers have strong cpus.

Best Regards,
Darko

... what do you mean "meant"? so you just typed porn without thinking about it? guess we know what the high cpu is for...?

  • OVH C2-7 maybe? What is the application? Does it have anything to do with mining?

We offer KVM VM's with high single-threaded performance (E3-1240v6 processor). Depending on your location, usage, and budget, we can make a custom offer that suits your needs.

What kind of CPU load will you be using? Will you be pinning high loads on all cores 24/7? Also, what kind of budget do you have?

    Hi,

    there are several questions.

    • Do you run 24/7 a cpu hungry script, or only occasionally?
    • What location are you interested in?
    • Do you prefer Windows or Linux?
    • What's your budget?
  • deankdeank Member, Troll

Like I said, budget is 7.

    Location EU.

  • Let me answer few questions

    1.) Yes, running 24/h
2.) East US or West Europe
    3.) Linux of course.
    4.) Budget: $100/mo
5.) I need two of those instances as they will be setup with load balancer
6.) Ignore the user "@deank" that shitpost on my discussion. I even reported him.

Heh, if you answered it sooner, I wouldn't have answered it for you. You kept avoiding those questions.

For one thing you overreacting because of your serious lack of detail. Secondly for your budget you might as well get 2 dedicated servers

I'd definitely go with hetzner auction servers in this case. 4 fast cores completely to yourself, and tons of hdd space.

    @gdarko

Simple go to Hetzner server bidding and get a i7-3770 w/ Passmark of 9445, 32GB ram and 2x3TB for about 26 Euro a month, install Debian and then install kvm and using virt-manager create 2 servers with 4 cores dedicated each, 16Gb ram and 3TB of hard drive space. Enjoyed with a whopping 20TB of bandwidth at gigabit. Should fit your needs and be well under your cost and heck, you could even get 2 and be under budget.

    Cheers!

    Slices? :D

    3.5Ghz per thread dedicated.

    https://buyvm.net/kvm-dedicated-server-slices

Unmetered bandwidth so syncing the data will be quick.

  • @Francisco How much bandwidth can you use per month before it called "abuse"?

What speed can you expected after all the port is shared?
    (What to use as proxy)

I'm always so skeptical of unmetered services. It isn't like math.

Depends on the plan since a 16GB plan can use more than a 1GB, obviously.

How much are you looking to use?

I was thinking about the slices 4G/2G plan for now. Can you give me some idea of "fair usage" for those plans?
