Would be nice if the setup fee was skipped, so i had a replacement for the EOL kidéchire boxen from some time ago...
Need setup fee, I choose KS-1.
Which is a good data center (France or Amsterdam)?
AMS seems to have lower latency then France, also I would pick AMS over France, since dedis in NL are kinda rare for 5 bucks.
Thanks
IPv6 seems to be routed through France in any case.
France:
AMS:
Anyone here got one?
I just want to see the time on those HDDs
Yes got one in Ams
Can you please share one bench (I/O disk speeds and bw)?
thanks!
Sorry i'm at the airport now for travel, will not be able to do it now.Hope someone else can share it here.
I/O speeds is very poor.
Whats the cancellation policy? I want to order in AMS, but ordered no preference earlier.... Support is unable to transfer
No refunds after Install OS.
Ahh, thanks.
NL / AMS1.
Device Model: HGST HTS725050A7E630 9 Power_On_Hours -O--C- 057 057 000 - 19231
@Shot2 this one is in France or AMS?
"NL / AMS1" means "Netherlands / Amsterdam DC1", I thought it was transparent
Sorry, I'm blind, I think.
test again
It seems I'm lucky enough
Not bad for fio test I think
Seems good to be used as hetzner "slave"
Well, the I/O differs, I got one with 88MB/sec in AMS:
France around 55MB/sec:
One has 19k hours, the other one 20k hours.
Anyone check please what ethernet adapter used on this server?
Interesting @Neoon . thanks!
@robinex
In AMS: Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation Ethernet Connection I354 2.5 GbE Backplane (rev 03)
Also got one, in Amsterdam. Monthly fee was pro-rated, 1.93 EUR plus setup fee. 11.93 EUR total.
I'll post bench and smartctl when server is up. Thanks @Neoon for the heads up!
Looking forward to your bench. thanks!
