Normal price for .net 11,79$. That's a good discount. But unfortunately it looks like first year only discount.

As usual with any other registrar. It's really hard to find discounts for more than one year.

The offer is loss leader. How do you expect them to make money otherwise? WHOIS privacy is gone.

Namesilo never charged for WHOIS privacy.

Now-a-days I'm avoiding NameSilo because they suspend domains even of copyright infringement complaints as per their TOS. Now matter they offer .coms or .nets for as low as 99 cents one should rather avoid namesilo to get their domains suspended!

transfer out to somewhere your trust after 60 days, worth it if you buy in bulk

I thought the offer is only for new registrations and specifically NOT for transfer? Is it not?
Oh but then I would even have some somewhere that I could transfer!

EDIT: namesilo pricing page shows discount only for new registry, not for transfer.

my comment was aimed at those who prefer to not use namesilo for domains for whatever reason.

reg the domain, then move it away after 60 days.
