Anyone use them? Saw a post from last year on here about them. Not looking to keep personal stuff on there.

    "lifetime" hahahaha...

It was just for general file sharing between family nothing important and I realise lifetime is very ambiguous ha.

Ironically, the asshat interpretation of that is even true - you can buy bronze age coins on eBay and I imagine you can find some from the 5th century BC when da Gaut was around. You can definitely get some from early Roman Republic, the Greek states, etc.

    Now, for the offer...

Imagine if these offers were around in 1988 or so. "1GB LIFETIME, $29.95".

Whoa...that's like a TON of floppies. Even using 1.44MB floppies, that's STILL a TON of space.

30 years later...would you still even use it? 30 years from now, 1TB may be similarly useless.

Bah, 30 years later..., I'd be 5 feet under.

    Is it "lifetime"?

Have used zoolz before in one of those sales. I would not recommend it.

I'm using this offer for about one year for some unimportant shit. Never had any problems with them.

pcloud lifetime for 350€ seems more like a solid solution if anything.

  • I saw it but, wasn't interested. I don't believe they have a Linux client. For me, it is a requirement to use solutions that allow me to work in Linux, MacOS, Windows and Android. That way, if I need I file, I can get to it.
