YouTube extension for chrome (Mac)?

Heya,

So usually Id use youtube-dl or Audials, however that's not available for Mac (which my parents use). I'm looking for an easy youtube to mp3 solution on Mac so my dad can add some songs to his mp3 player. So are there any good youtubetomp3 converter chrome extensions you can recommend or any freeware for Mac for that very purpose? Tubemate is not available anymore it seems.

Used this back in the day. Not a chrome extension though - I think you gotta find some sketchy chrome plugins to side-load because they don't allow them in the store. https://www.mediahuman.com/youtube-to-mp3-converter/

FYI, youtube-dl for Mac is available via Homebrew:

    http://brewformulas.org/YoutubeDl

If you've used apt or yum, brew will be no challenge for you.

The only trick with youtube-dl (in general, not just mac) is that you have to keep it up to date because Google is constantly mucking with the HTML, etc.

The only issue being that this is for my dad to use. I don't have Windows 10 on my own rig. So a program like @Harambe mentioned is just perfect :)
    Thanks though!

Hah, don't think I've had mp3s on my computer in like 6-7 years. You gotta do some googling. I have seen this mentioned on Reddit before though for library management: http://beets.io/
