VPS Dedicated for Gameserver

Hello Guys,

I'm looking for a VPS with at least 2 dedicated cores.
My Requirements:

Location: Europe
RAM: 3/4Gb
CPU: E3 or E5 but 2 dedicated cores.
Connection: 1gbps shared it's okey.
HDD: 100gb also okay.

PRICE: 7€/Month.

I'm looking for an offer like this:
https://www.netcup.de/bestellen/produkt.php?produkt=1605

But it's out of stock.

Thanks and good day.

Dunno if that's realistic even for LET standards. You won't get two dedicated cores on an E3 for 7 euro, it's a quad core.

    yet netcup offers it.

They don't. It was a special promotion and people abuse those for mining, so they will never return with something like that.

Those are also e5s not e3s (with less cores) at netcup. If two dedicated are required you will need to increase your budget or maybe can be done with 1 on an e5 if someone was generous.

  • Did you look at https://www.netcup.de/bestellen/produkt.php?produkt=1553 which gives you more than what you want at €9.00 (monthly) or €7.00 (annual contract)?

That I think is in stock (and now Netcup's ToS expressly prohibits mining).

If you were OK with shared (but decently performing) cores, you could look at Netcup's own VPS line up or also Hetzner's cloud lineup both of which provide what you want with possibly reduced disk space (but SSD/NVMe) or some other similar tradeoff but effectively providing very good value/config/specs for what you pay.

Tagging @Falzo who is LET's local "in-house" Netcup ambassador who can also probably give you a starting discount using some aff codes.

haha, thanks, would not really call me ambassador, at least I have mentioned them much less lately ;-)

you already pointed to whats comes close, maybe just take the SAS version instead - https://www.netcup-offers.eu/bestellen/produkt.php?produkt=1550
or as you said one of the (old) vserver lineup - https://www.netcup.eu/bestellen/produkt.php?produkt=1752 , while those are shared cores, performance is very decent especially since you now get AES enabled with those too. also they come with 1Gbps instead of the advertised 100Mbit...

keep in mind that netcup does not remove german VAT for international customers and need you to actively cancel 31 days before renewal.

other then that grab a discount code from my sig to get 5€ off your first order ^^
