What script are you using for the PayPal Billing Agreements? As far as I know, there are only two available. None of them create invoices, it simply charges, furthermore, there's no such error in their possible errors. So something isn't right here.
Could you please explain me this? Happy to discuss privately, but this doesn't sound right.
For the record, I run a heavily modified custom template where I've explored many hooks and API calls, custom plugins, as well as the PayPal Billing Agreement module, excluding one from Bobcares. Still, no billing agreement modules generate any invoices.
The "script test for faster invoice" doesn't make sense. I've worked for companies that generate many hundreds of invoices per day and the script/cron, along with PHP 7.0, runs pretty damn fast.

So, you took a bridge loan from users?

This is one of the very few times I'll say this, charge back/dispute if you've seen erroneous payments taken from your account. Users who had services, cancel your PayPal billing agreements.

    EDIT: Updated for clarity.

While it's nice and easy to beat a dead horse, it cannot lead anywhere. Even if you say a million times that all those are bullshit, or calling people not to believe them (not believe what? That they closing doors on debt? Because that's what he wrote, he did not promise that he will refund everyone) is just arguing without a subject...

I was one of the guys that defended him, but it's not making any sense right now. Many things aren't.

Follow @ElliotJ's advice and cancel your billing agreements / issue charge backs ASAP.

30k debt means they hadn't been paying for a while. A simple price increase won't cut it. In other words, they were getting money from client for the last few months to make enough to make a run for it.

That's how some lowend hosts roll.

Yeah, $30K debt is a lot, they can legally break both of his legs at least three times for that kind of money.

OMG is this true what i,'m seeing? Did he really charged 200EUR customers for nothing?!

For a second there I thought this guy is a decent human being, but once again i stand corrected.

When i see humans at their worst, which is most how we really, honestly, naturally are, my heart grows ten times it's size, i think I'll die from myocardia. Adding insult to injury is like icing on the potato. Yeah, don't forget to kick 'em when they're down. Taking candy from a baby.

OK Well, time to change this thread up a bit, it seems GHP was ran by yet another dreamer who does not even know what he does not know with no sense of responsibility or accountability.

I would love to be wrong, but I suspect I am not.

EVERYONE needs to file a charge back imo, not a dispute, a full blown charge back.

    image

Everyone needs to consider filing a charge back, it seems that GHP is still billing customers and is unable to refund them.

  • Well this took a turn for the worse really quick, one second guy is getting praised for a smooth market exit and now crucified.

Removed due to the seriousness of this issue, maybe troll is not suitable

  • chargeback

And here's why people with this 'business model' can keep going, the attitude of people in this thread, for some surreal reason gifting money to this outfit was OK because he gave 24 hours notice he was going out of business, while half of his service was already broken. Not exactly chivalrous but better than silence.

No mention of whether the debt is personally liable or whether is disappears with the business, anyways.

No mention from the host whether pro rated refunds will be offered so I'll go on the surreal LET assumption that it's somehow wrong to ask.

  • Hello,

We only had x2 Clients with this issue on this amount and they are getting refunded as we mention before on the thread.

We have custom calls on the module due issues with billing panel sometimes was giving 1 year free service so we had to find another way for this.

Title seems mislead as we haven't charged anyone after 6th April and cancelled all PayPal agreements manually on 6th April before even announcing this.

So your solution to avoid giving away a year of service is a change that can result in customers being massively over billed?

Doesn’t sound quite right to me...

I was not born yesterday, the issues are clear, they are still unresolved, resolve them and the title will be changed, if not the title will remain and your contact details will also be added.

You claim @Thetulip was an error, then you should have fixed it immediately not when it is convenient for you you.

There are others with the same claims, they have even posted proof in the tickets of you just completely ignoring them

This essentially makes you a criminal, if you have even the slightest bit of common decency you will be logging in to wonga.com today, taking a payday loan (its only 2 customers after all according to you) and paying them back, your hardship is not their problem.

I notice how you don't make any mention of the people that had longer than a monthly term.

The title stays, we are not as stupid as you would like to believe, that said, once everyone is made whole, I see no reason to keep this thread up, so the ball is in your court, it will take you 30 minutes to get the money to pay these people you ripped off back.

The alternative is we can all put out a big appeal in all relevant corners of the internet for GHP customers to see if peoples paid for terms are being cut short or if they have ever been ripped off with your billing setup, I am sure the last thing your new employer wants is a ton of phone calls from angry people looking for you to get their money back.

We meant not charge it all. Only 2 Clients got charged such large amount,
another client is already refunded around 2 weeks back.
current one is waiting for refund to this Friday once I get my delayed salary .

We have hooks on WHMCS as mostly all code is encrypted including module we used which makes it harder to code what it meant to do is check all products on due date if there all okay code 0 if invoice is missing code 10 and charge or create the invoice I run to some curl issues with date 1970 and no idea how to solve this. the code is removed from hooks from last 2 - 3 weeks as its not stable and im suck at php.
My plan was to get some guy to fix it after from these cheap dev websites but it never went forward.

    Hope this is clear.

    Hello,

We would be happy to refund it immediately however out PayPal is on minus for some time now makes it nearly impossible for me as I don't have second source of income at this moment and probably can expect debit collector anytime from PayPal side.

I'm not hiding. this is wrong as this should not happen with these charges I should have not experiment on production environment with PayPal hooks.

I'm trying my best to fix these issues else I would not be here and not agree that such things took place. I could simply remove all data and disappear like most of hosts do this.

Tickets were put on hold as really I did not have any update for it I was expecting to fix it faster within 14 days however nothing went as planned only 70% were refunded with smaller charges others were put on hold. 1 last charge is my top priority at this moment after within few month I will look into these small charges after starting paying back to DC and have finally stable income.

I hope so too. Well this depend on my old work as they are paying my salary in rates since December. They e-mail me they will make me payment on Friday night so I hope they will else this thread will go even more crazy I guess.

  • Too sad my friend bought a server from you @GalaxyHostPlus and after some days the company is deadpooled. He lost his 15 dollars too bad :(

go to wonga.com, get a £500 loan, pay the 2 people back, done. stop playing for time, its Friday, now Friday night, now only maybe... you should have reversed the charge immediately or told the customer to file a charge back immediately.

If you still have not made people whole when I wake up Saturday.. this will start branching out fast i assure you.

    I am talking UK time.

Anyway just to be clear, I hope this is sorted an I am wrong about the whole situation, we have just seen this all to many times on LET, I am tired of seeing people lose money, especially when its not insignificant amounts.

He didn't mean it is Friday right now, he was referring to when GalaxyHostPlus promised to repay. First it was "Friday", then it became "Friday night", and then "maybe".

  • Oooooh, sorry then.
My friend bought something for 14 dollars or 14 euros i don't really remember i helped him request a refund yestarday i hope he gets the money back

For the loan you need Income, Which currently is non just the outstanding salary my last job which is paying in rates which is annoying as this would be solved long time back.

And large debt over 30k+ which makes it even harder.

Hopefully tomorrow will be resolved with the client as this is my aim atm. no matter what you say about timing. This is my current priority. have a nice day.

Well my last job pays around 17:30pm but sometimes payment gets little bit longer. So just mention night to make sure I won't get messages in the morning.
