Hello LET users!

This is Leyton and Ryan from 123COM (http://123com.org), introducing our new KVM Virtual Server range.

You can see our four KVM plans at http://123com.org/vps/kvm/

We've sent in to be featured over on LEB, so I'll keep this short, sweet, and to the point.

512MB RAM @ £3/mo (around $4.50/mo)
1024MB RAM @ £4.50/mo (around $7/mo) [use promo code: LETKVM1]

Lager plans are available: 1536MB RAM and 2048MB RAM

These are run from our new E3-1230 Sandybridge nodes in Jacksonville USA.

About 123COM
Well, we have been advertising around here since August 2011, but have been going strong since 2007, making this our 5th year in business, almost entering our 6th. In that time we have built up a concise team of technicians and customer service representatives who are not only talented, but love what they do!

Our servers are located throughout the world, as we offer, and have offered such a range of services throughout our businesses lifetime. We have a lot of very happy customers, especially with our recent specialisms in Virtual Private Server hosting, with hundreds of active users on our nodes. Experiencing stable, friendly hosting.

If you have any questions, feel free to open a sales ticket - or email [email protected] directly. You can also try our live chat system, but we are working as part of the http://groovehq.com/ beta, and as a result, it's being a little temper mental (we are assured it will be fixed ASAP). Though tickets will receive a speedy response.

I hope you have an amazing day - and thanks for taking the time to look at 123COM!

Thanks :)

Interesting anyone use 123com service before?

Question: you have stated in Jacksonville USA as data center. But on your website does not have jacksonville as data center :)

  • @123COM - Hey Ryan. As a heads-up, the community has some regulations in place for posting offers. You can find the thread here: http://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/1/low-end-vps-offer-posting-rules-update-2012

To sum it up, though... offers above the 7,00$/mo price point can't be posted; you might want to go ahead and remove those from your post. If you'd include a test IP for folks to use, that'd be helpful as well.

I did not fuss him about list because 4.50 plan was in the list. Yeah, you can not put >7.00 plan in LEB/LET. :)

@123com you can state if anyone interested in any other than LEB plan they can chat with ur support person on your site or so on.

    =o

  • @innya - We have only just opened these nodes up in the USA specifically for KVM. We are getting images from the datacentre in order to fill out the page.
-- I am in the process of setting up a testing VPS on a node, and will update the post when its there.

@Aldyic - I haven't posted here in a while, but last time there were guidelines for GBP as well, which that met. Sorry if it doesn't, I will amend the post as soon as I have some time.

    Thanks :)

123com got hammer in LEB a few time by users.
But this is interesting offer at least to me.
price on website is in GBP. So, it will go over $4.50 ($4.725) when it convert to USD.

You had enough time to post a reply here and enough time to post this thread, so you should have enough time to amend it now?

  • @123COM said: but last time there were guidelines for GBP as well,

Yup, they're still there. The tl;dr is that providers are asked to use the 7,00$USD as a base, and just provide the at-time-of-post conversion on pricing.

Unfortunately, some users failed to see our pre-orders list on Germany servers, and our Christmas staffing reorganisation. But theres no point in making excuses, we have plenty of happy customers.

@LV_Matt & @Aldryc - I was just confirming my mistake against the rules, and checking with the rest of my team about a discount code for LET to bring the 1GB plan under the $7 limit.

    Thanks :)

  • @123com Is it your fixed price $4.50 ? or will it change base on conversion?

  • @innya said: @123com Is it your fixed price $4.50 ? or will it change base on conversion?

As shown above and on our site - £3/mo is our fixed price, and it comes to around $4.50 after conversion.

  • E3-1230 in Jacksonville... Volumedrive datacenter?

  • @jon617 said: E3-1230 in Jacksonville... Volumedrive datacenter?

Indeed, we have had a great time with VD, and their structure allows us to offer amazing pricing :)

    Thanks LR

  • We use VolumeDrive and they are a let down, Planning on fully moving to Kansas, MO.

  • Kansas City FTW!

How much user on the node for this offer?

  • @dwild said: How much user on the node for this offer?

We put no more than 30 users to a node, which is our rule of thumb for all platforms.

  • Looks like a great deal... keep up the good work!

  • Yes, seems like a great deal, any plan to see your KVM servers in Europe?

  • @Zero said: any plan to see your KVM servers in Europe?

Yes, well - depending on how the USA launch goes - we will launch to either France or Germany.

Sorry, but your price (7,13 USD) is still over LET limit (exactly 7 USD or below).
