  • Try getting in contact with Psychz, or QuickPacket, both have multiple locations and might cut you a deal - Although for that kind of hardware you’re probably going to have to increase your budget slightly.

    Yeah, your mentioned budget is low, and a lot of those servers are still tied up shoemining.

    As others have mentioned, your budget is too low for this configuration.

    @huboss is 2670 mandatory or will you do with 2620 as well?

    @willie - We can go up to 128GB on the E5-2670v2 (occasionally 196GB if requested). Obviously there's an upgrade cost for 128GB.

  • @Dedispec it's actually @huboss looking for the server, see top of thread. :).

    @willie - Yup I noticed that, thanks :)

    @huboss E5-2670v2 with 128GB RAM and 480GB SSD or 4TB HDD comes out to $119/month. No IPMI available yet though, we're only doing temporary KVM-over-IP on a request basis. DM if interested since the RAM upgrade normally is a bit more. The E5 $79 price range is a sale currently running for a few more days in the thread willie linked.
