Recommendation dedicated server for my first vps node (For customers in Chile)
Hello
I have a small hosting business in Chile, now I have one 400 shared hosting accounts and I would like to offer vps to my clients. In fact since I have some clients that I offer vps, but these the KnownHost or futurehosting contract so the profit margin is minimal for me.
Therefore I decided to create a small node for vps, so look for a dedicated server provider that offers a good price, plus a stable network and Real 24x7 support team (if that at some point there is a problem)
Currently my clients stay in a dedicated server at Hivelocity, but unfriendly to the hosting companies (null route applied without time to act on occasion). for which I am looking at the possibility of leaving the company.
For node vps, was thinking about using quickpacket.com, but have not found many references about the uptime and support them.
Another option I've seen is dacentec.com
I hope you can help with recommendations.
regards
PS: sorry for the English, I only speak Spanish

@qps
Hi what is your budget? And do you have any preference to location?
ideally under the US160. I'm from Chile so I think a good location is Miami, but I can accept other locations.
What think of ioflood.com?
We can assist. We are located in Atlanta, and have good latency to South America.
We have many good reviews. You can see our latest offer thread where many people have commented:

@qps I sent him a message with a query
Update: about server location can also be Atlanta, just check it and the ping is quite acceptable.
Please, speak always in english here @john_k. Santiago, Rio and São Paulo have great datacenters but the price to lease a dedicated is ridiculously high.
Você é mais católico que o Papa.
I know about the prices... There must be a way to revert that tendency.... Let's see;
How about colocation? If you buy a server at US dollars tag price, how much would you say the colocation would cost at those DCs?
@EkaatyLinux There are no rules here about the language.
@netomx I know about the rules. This was just a recommendation.
Como brasileiro, falar em português seria muito mais fácil para mim, mas, convenhamos, o inglês é a língua mais propensa a ser compreendida por todos os membros. E eu não entendi isto @john_k: Você é mais católico que o Papa.
