Pay Per Hour VPS in/near Chicago?

Hey Guys,
Once again I am looking for a VPS. This time in/near Chicago. I basically need a alternative for Vultr as I have problems with their site.

Thank you, but I am looking for Chicago because I noticed that they have the best speeds to my main server! :)

Thank you! Do you know if they offer pay per hour servers? I am just seeing monthly billing.

  • eva2000eva2000 Veteran
    edited March 2018

    they're hourly billed :)

    Preconfigured cloud servers

Preconfigured servers are billed hourly and as they are reserved for the customer they are also billed when turned off. One IPv4 and the specified resources above are included, otherwise please refer to our pricing table below.

You may add extra storages and remain within preconfigured pricing.

Thanks so much for the tests! Yup I shot them an email and they only offer credit card billing which is fine by me. I'll probably give them a go in a little bit.

OP, if you haven't tried them yet, def give Upcloud's Chicago location a shot! After seeing @eva2000 's benches I signed up for them today and have been playing around with a few cloud VPSes there and so far so good.

99stack is fine, but I am looking for a back-up in case my location is sold out or their site is under maintenance.

  • You can use OVH, Digital ocean or Linode instead!
